Being contacted by the company was actually a good thing for me, as I was looking for some software to do screen capture on my Windows 7 64 bit system since my previous solutions seems not to work that well when I upgraded to 64 bit windows 7.
At this point, I am running the free trial version and it is working as expected. I do plan to get the full licensed product and do more testing.
In particular, I plan to test capturing short pieces of content {sound and video} from web sites I visit. No copyright material here....just video that I might want to include in a travel log slideshow.
Here's a short screen capture below from my testing.
Another use for the product would be to capture my screen actions to complete some task for training or showing someone how to do some task.
I'll post the results of my testing soon. In the meanwhile, if you are in search of a screen capture program, check out the free trial version of Camtica, and if it works for you, buy the full version.
